Historic promotion comes to OKC PD | News
The Oklahoma City Police Department announced that a historic promotion will be coming to their ranks later this week.
On February 23, 2012, Chief Bill Citty will promote Sgt. Taylor Dinh to the rank of Lieutenant.
Sgt. Dinh is an 18 year veteran of the force and will be the first Vietnamese American promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in the history of the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Sgt. Dinh has worked in the Crime Scene Investigations Unit for the past 12 years.
