Dental center offers free screenings Wednesday morning | Events

Oklahoma Smiles Dental Center will be offering free dental screenings during "Healthy Smile, Happy Child Day" on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, February 22, 2012, the center will be offering free screenings from 9 a.m.t o 11 a.m.

“An estimated one in five children go without dental care each year,” said Dr. Rafiq Hirji, a Lead Dentist at Oklahoma Smiles. “At Oklahoma Smiles that is one too many. With tooth decay being the single most common childhood disease, five times more common than asthma, we need to ensure that all children have access to quality dental care. We want to invite children and parents to participate in our free dental screenings to combat dental health problems and help keep their smiles healthy and happy for years to come.”

Oklahoma Smiles Dental Center is located at 309 S.W. 59th St. in Oklahoma City.
