Young Professional's Breakfast coming to local church

OKLAHOMA CITY – President Robert Henry of Oklahoma City University will
speak at the first Oklahoma City Young Professional’s Breakfast on October
31, 2013.
The breakfast will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in the
church’s Christian Life Center from 7 to 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 31.
The quarterly event will showcase successful business men and women from
around the metro area and serve as a networking tool for young professionals.
“This is such an exciting opportunity for the future leaders of our city to
gather together and hear from a great leader about how we can make a
difference in our community,” says Josh Attaway, Ministry Associate at St.
Luke’s UMC.
President Henry, the first featured business professional of the Breakfast
series, served as Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the
Tenth Circuit. Prior to his appointment to the Court, Henry served as
attorney general of the State of Oklahoma, as well as state representative in
Oklahoma's House of Representatives, where he chaired the committees on the
judiciary, common education, and the appropriation and budget committee on
general government.
“Oklahoma City is rapidly on the rise and we want to make sure our
generation continues that progress,” says Attaway.
There is no charge to attend the breakfast. Individuals interested in
attending or looking for other ways to get involved can contact Josh Attaway
at 600-3416 or jattaway@stlukesokc.org.
